Penelope was kept as an outdoors bunny. She lived in a plastic carrier and her only run time was outside, on the dirt. The people who had her almost lost her one night, and this raised a red flag for one of our volunteers. She was bought for a small child, and was relinquished to the volunteer once the parents realized how much work bunnies really are. She came to us a bit dirty, but other than that she is a completely healthy and happy bunny. She is currently in foster and is waiting for her forever home.
